Ever Wonder Where Your Dollar Goes?

Most donors trust that IFRM is using their dollars wisely for the Lord’s Great Commission. But have you ever wondered exactly how your donation is being used? We would like to take a moment to help you better understand how your support is being used to glorify God by serving His people.

IFRM does not receive state or federal funding. We are completely community funded. This means everything IFRM is able to offer is because of people just like you supporting our ministries—whether through financial gifts, donated items, or volunteering your time.

What Is Our Mission?

“We exist to provide help, hope, and a future to the hungry, homeless and hopeless in our community through the power and love of Jesus Christ.”

The Idaho Falls Rescue Mission got its start in 1998 with one goal in mind: sharing God’s love by helping people in crisis find shelter, a hot meal, and a fresh start. IFRM helps people who are struggling by providing a safe and sober environment where they can find security, support, and hope as they rebuild their lives.

Every meal served, every bed offered, every conversation shared is a chance to remind someone of God’s love for them—that they are seen, valued, and not alone.

How Do We Do This?

We believe meaningful change happens when we are able to be vulnerable and address the real issues preventing us from moving forward. One way that we are able to do this at IFRM is through our case management services. We ensure that our case managers have hearts for advocacy who are able to have hard conversations with compassion while treating our guests with empathy and respect.

Our case managers walk alongside guests through private, one-on-one assessments where safety and security are prioritized. They offer spiritual encouragement, help guests build achievable goal-centered case plans, assist with program enrollments, and connect individuals with community resources when needed.

So, where does your dollar go in all of this?

Supporting IFRM financially is vital to this work. When you donate, your dollars go towards payroll and training to ensure our case managers are spiritually, mentally, and emotionally equipped to serve the diverse needs of the community at IFRM.

Your support also helps cover building and operational costs to ensure there is always a safe and secure environment, where trust can be built, and walls come down, and lives can begin to change through compassionate conversations and Christ-centered care.
